The Holy Bible has been translated into many languages, with English being only one of those languages. Latin is another language, and, where the word Rapture is concerned, the early Latin translators of the Greek New Testament portion of the Holy Bible translated the Greek word harpazo into the Latin word rapturo. Certainly, modern-day English speakers can see that the root of their English word Rapture is from the Latin word rapturo.
