Jesus says: “For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14, KJV). This verse is the moral of the Wedding Banquet Parable, as revealed through the King’s (God’s) repeated invitations. Moreover, the moral of the Wedding Banquet Parable answers the questions: Called for what? Chosen for what?
If we are persecuted, if we are mistreated, if we are disabled (permanently or temporarily), or even if we lose our lives while we are doing the Will of the Father, we are going to be well compensated for our troubles. God has us covered, and His Workers’ Compensation Insurance offers us the best benefits there are for being injured, ill, disabled, or killed.
The sowing and reaping principle works in the natural and the spiritual realms. We, thus, must know what we are sowing, because our sowing ALWAYS will determine what we will reap!
Just like we rise from spiritual death when Christ calls us to be His CHURCH, those of us who have fallen asleep before Christ returns for His sanctified Bride will rise from physical death, when Christ once again calls us. Then, those of us who are still alive at His coming will be caught up in the clouds with the resurrected dead. We all will meet Christ in the air!
