While waiting for ministerial opportunities often is hard to do for those of us who know that we know that we know God has called, ordained, anointed, and appointed us, waiting is what we must do. For sure, God knows that our not knowing how long we will have to go back to doing the monotonous, dull, and often seemingly insignificant tasks we were doing before He officially called us will make us often wish that we were somewhere else doing something more extraordinary. However, we must know that He will not send us anywhere to do anything if He has not prepared us for service.
When God hides you, He still expects your excellence to show through everything that you do while you are in hiding. Moreover, He still expects you to be content with being where you are, even more so during your season(s) of hiding, because this attitude of contentment not only could accelerate God’s process by which He makes you fit for His service but also could strengthen your determination to get the most out of your time of rest and refreshing.
The goal of every evangelist or “church” spiritual leader has never been to get lost souls to pray any prayer. The goal ALWAYS has been to be a witness for Jesus the Christ—to lead the unsaved world to the Lord by demonstrating to lost souls how to live for Him.
God the Father is a spiritual and godly Being. As a Spirit, He is spiritual because He is wholly sanctified, which means He is perfect and complete—He has NO spot or blemish, and there is nothing broken, and nothing missing or lacking in Him. God is godly because He embodies the following characteristics: holiness, righteousness, mercy, grace, love, kindness, gentleness, discipline, and so forth. Therefore, since God is spiritual and godly, then anyone who calls him or herself a Christian believer also must be both godly AND spiritual!
The ever-increasing need for more support from their financial partners is the primary reasons why today’s “spiritual” leaders in churches or ministries, the so-called “superstars” or “anointed” ones, think that it is okay to charge their “audiences” a cash price before giving unbelievers and even believers the Holy Bible’s Divine Truths that have been revealed to these Christian so-called “superstars” or “anointed” ones. Their need for more support from financial partners also is the reason for their insidious commercializing (branding) of God’s Word and His ekklesia, the spiritual buildings or “called out ones” who are being identified by the brick and mortar buildings in which they worship.
If this world’s believers (no matter if they are white, black, or other) want to be members of the genuine Body of Christ, then they must come to the realization that the following bigoted behaviors no longer should have a foothold in ANY part of their lives: racism, ageism, sexism, and partisanism, also neither the attitude of superiority nor the propensity to identify themselves by an assortment of denominational and theological monikers that essentially indicate that their belief systems are divisions of the ONE true Body of Christ. Otherwise, this world’s congregations that are meeting in the “institutional church’s” settings will remain segregated under the false pretense of being divided by FAITH.
FAITH’S true colors are the reasons why real FAITH in God means that believers must go through seasons of testing (times when believers’ characteristics are closely examined) and seasons of allurement (times when people, philosophies, religious doctrines, lifestyles, seducing spirits, and so forth, are trying to lure believers into sin—are trying to tempt believers to abandon their desires to be obedient to and faithful doers of the Word of God). These seasons of testing and allurement, thus, prove whether believers’ childlike FAITH is or is not the kind of FAITH that produces godly endurance, steadfastness, and patience (characteristics of spiritual maturity).
