Even though many people have forgotten the history behind Memorial Day, and even though some individuals never knew its history, the fact remains that Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
It is ironic that God chooses Pentecost to be the day His Holy Spirit would begin preparing the firstfruits of the redeemed people who would makeup God’s Kingdom to come—the day that blood-bought Jews and Gentiles become God’s sons and daughters in the Household of Faith. But thank God He did!
Only the Breath of God (Holy Spirit) can produce true believers who not only are able to dream dreams and see visions, but also who are able to speak a Rhema Word of “life” into the Lord’s ekklesia, as well as speak a Rhema Word of “life” into the many unresponsive, fallen, broken, and/or empty clay vessels, full of dry bones.
The Holy Spirit’s most important goal is not only to make a believer’s BODY, SOUL, and SPIRIT one (make all three parts immortal), just like the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are One (all three Persons are eternal); but also the Holy Spirit’s job is to make every imperfect (unholy) BODY, SOUL, and SPIRIT holy (perfect), like the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are HOLY (perfect)—like each of the three Persons of the Trinity is identified as being HOLY! This call to Holiness is the ONENESS reality Christ Jesus prays for in John 17:21.
Christ Jesus not only is the object of our hope but also He is the Rock upon which we can anchor our hope. In Christ Jesus, we have the assurance that our hope in our High Priest, who has made it possible for us to go beyond the veil and enter into the presence of God, will never fail us. Because of Christ Jesus’ sacrifice and His intercession, God has made it possible for our hope to be fastened solidly, steadfastly, and irrevocably to our Savior and Lord.
ALL wisdom, whether secular or spiritual, starts and ends with God. The secular wisdom about how to be successful in this life by acquiring knowledge, virtue, character, justice, wealth, or even family comes from God. That’s right. The successes obtained in this life in these mentioned areas also are biblical wisdom’s major focal points. However, the missing area, especially where secular wisdom is concerned, is the God kind of faith. The God kind of faith is the greatest focal point of biblical wisdom’s major focal points, because it is by acquiring faith in God and in His Son, Christ Jesus, as our Savior and Lord, that human beings are able to gain a Godly perspective, which only come from the spiritual insights about living that He gives.

Mother’s Day is a time for having warm thoughts and fond memories about your mother, who may or may not be alive. It also is a time for ALL mothers to continue to be (or seek to become) the kind of mother that their children will say is patient, encouraging, strong, generous, and the giver of unwavering love!
The POWER of prayer is FAITH (TRUST) in God, Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God. That’s why this FAITH only comes from hearing the Word of God. Then too, the POWER of prayer also is the POWER of God (the [dunamis] POWER of His Holy Spirit and the [exousia] AUTHORITY in Christ Jesus’ name). It is this POWER and AUTHORITY that God uses when He not only hears but also answers our prayers that are in agreement with His Will. Taking into consideration that we are submitting totally to God’s Will, are being willingly obedient to His commands, and genuinely are acknowledging EVERY GOOD THING that God already has given us (primarily the POWER that works in us), as well as taking into consideration that we also are trusting without doubting, believing and expecting to receive, and demonstrating the right motives, we then will know that we are ready to speak (pray) in FAITH, releasing the POWER and AUTHORITY that is within us that move God to hear and answer our prayers.
