God purposely intended that the physical appearance of the matzah, with its piercings (holes), stripes (rows), brown spots from baking, and no leaven, would resemble the pierced, striped, and bruised body of Christ Jesus, who was without sin. That’s why the Passover/Unleavened Bread festivities are a time of rejoicing, because since the day of Christ Jesus’ crucifixion these festivities always end with a pleasant instead of a bland dessert. Passover/Unleavened Bread festivities now end with a risen Savior!
There is nothing that should be more important to believers than their relationship with their Father and their Lord and Savior. Every time a believer sins, sin assaults that person’s relationships with the Father and His Son. While the Holy Spirit will point out to believers their sins, He will not make believers repent and return to their first love. That’s why it is very important that believers always desire to be faithful and obedient to God’s Will and His commands, always remain sensitive to the leadings and promptings of the Holy Spirit, and always choose to repent immediately so that they can return back to God, their only true First Love.
