In order to remain spiritually strong and spiritually healthy, we must EXERCISE our individual spiritual Faith muscle! It’s our responsibility to build our own Faith muscle! If our own Faith is weak, flabby, atrophic (wasting away, withering), or false, then it is our own fault – NOT God’s!
The Rapture apostle Paul describes involves the Lord rescuing His Bride so She won’t experience ANY of the Tribulation Period. Thus, just like Enoch is translated/raptured long before the Flood starts, the walking with God Bride of Christ also is going to be raptured long before the Tribulation Period begins. On the other hand, just like the righteous and faithful Noah and his family are provided safety from the Flood by being allowed to enter the Ark, the born-again, saved, and believing predominantly Jewish (144,000) remnant is going to be rescued via a Rapture, right before the Time of Jacob’s Trouble begins. Lastly, like the wayward, backslidden, carnal believer in God Lot and his family, a wayward, backslidden, carnal Jewish remnant will face some of the satanic Antichrist’s wrath but, right before the Time of Jacob’s Trouble starts, the converted believing Jewish members of this remnant will find safety from both God’s Wrath and the Antichrist’s wrath, in the Judean hills—specifically, in Bozrah.
The former and latter rains are both literal rains needed for physical farming and spiritual rains, which are emblematic of the Holy Spirit who is needed for spiritual farming. The outpouring of the former (Autumn) rain has been fulfilled in the first four Jewish Feasts, and the latter rain outpouring is yet to be fulfilled during the last three Jewish Feasts. The spiritual latter rain actually is the double outpouring of Joel’s prophesied combined former rain and latter rain, which will happen in a future Tishri, the first month of a Jewish new year, and the month of the Jewish Fall Feasts. This double outpouring is the spiritual rainfall that not only accompanies the Fall Feasts but also has the honor of ushering in the blessing and restoration of the Kingdom of Israel, which will be under the rule and reign of the Messiah—Jesus the Christ.
When the apostle Paul says believers are not meant to go through God’s Orge (Wrath), the apostle Paul means exactly that. God allowed His Son to experience His Orge and Thumos, which He poured out against sin and evil—He allowed Jesus the Christ to be beaten beyond recognition, crucified on a Cross, and resurrected from the grave just so that the Lord’s Bride, every saved and justified believer who is allowing God’s Holy Spirit to change him and her from the inside out, until he or she becomes like Christ Jesus, would be SAVED from all of the Wrath (Orge) to come.
