In this YouTube video, Perry Stone explains the importance of the annually repeated cycles and patterns of God’s mandated seven Feasts and His Law of Firstfruits. He uses these annual Feasts’ cycles and patterns to prove they are shadows of the things to come, primarily the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. Perry also explains how the biblical literal firstfruits’ harvests are symbolic of the last days and end times’ Raptures (Gatherings) of Souls. That’s right . . . . Raptures, as in more than one!
Adonai said to Moshe, “Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘After you enter the land I am giving you and harvest its ripe crops, you are to bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the cohen. He is to wave the sheaf before Adonai, so that you will be accepted; the cohen is to wave it on the day after the Shabbat. ~ Leviticus 23:9-11, CJB (Barley, First of all the Firstfruits)
Observe the festival of Shavu‘ot with the first-gathered produce of the wheat harvest, and the festival of ingathering at the turn of the year. ~ Exodus 34:22, CJB (Wheat, Second of all Grain Firstfruits)
until the day after the seventh week; you are to count fifty days; and then you are to present a new grain offering to Adonai. You must bring bread from your homes for waving — two loaves made with one gallon of fine flour, baked with leaven — as firstfruits for Adonai. ~ Leviticus 23:16-17, CJB (Wheat, Second of all Grain Firstfruits)
You will also give him the firstfruits of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep. ~ Deuteronomy 18:4, CJB (Grapes “New Wine” First Firstfruits of all Fruits)
All the best of the olive oil, wine and grain, the first portion of what they give to Adonai, I have given to you. ~ Numbers 18:12, CJB (Majority of Barley, Wheat, and Grapes’ Harvested Crops Are for Farmers and Their Families’ Consumption)
Perry says there will be two Firstfruits Harvests, but I believe there are three Firstfruits Harvests, and my belief is based on the fact that the three major crops harvested in Israel are: Barley, Wheat, and Grapes. In the natural, all three of these crops have Firstfruits (the first to ripen grain or fruit, which is given to God).
So then the three Firstfruits Harvests of Souls that I believe happen are: 1. Firstfruits of Barley (initially, Christ and those who raised with Him after His bodily Resurrection AND secondly, the Bride of Christ—every Overcomer from Pentecost to the Rapture of the alive in Christ Overcomers; see Matthew 27:52-53, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17); 2. Firstfruits of Wheat (Perry says they are the 144,000, but I believe these Firstfruits are the saved martyred left behind Tribulation Jewish elect AND the saved martyred left behind Gentile Believers who have been severely sifted via threshing—cutting the stalk first and then slicing the head; sounds like a beheading; see Revelation 6:9, Revelation 17:6; Revelation 20:4); and 3. Firstfruits of Grapes (the “new wine” who are the Jewish 144,000; see Isaiah 65:8, Acts 2:15-17, Matthew 9:17, John 15:1-5, Luke 5:33-39, Ephesians 5:18; Revelation 7:1-8, and Revelation 14:1-5).
NOTE: I am sorry that the above posted video cannot be viewed. Please accept my sincerest apology.
I have posted video after video after video from different people’s YOUTUBE channels, where these videos in which Perry Stone teaches about The Rapture Law of First Fruits had been published, only to have each one of these shared videos blocked on this blog. The only reason for blocking the viewing of these videos that I can see is that apparently some third party, possibly Voice of Evangelism (VOE) or Perry Stone/Manna-Fest, or both since Perry Stone/Manna-Fest is VOE, has done so because of copyright infringement!
While there are more videos with the same content in them on YouTube, this servant of the Lord who does not expect to be paid for spreading His Gospel Truths won’t be posting any of them here on this freely shared blog! It is a shame that the spreading of the Gospel has become nothing more than a business!
Interesting thoughts. Thanks for sharing them.
Praise God! Thank you. You’re welcome. Sharing is my pleasure. God bless!
Could the 2 witnesses be a first fruit? dies, went to the father and came back after 3 days…First of the wine harvest?
Nikki,
Thank you for stopping by my blog, for reading this posting, and for commenting on it. Yes, the two witnesses are some of the firstfruits who are raptured around Mid-Tribulation (Pre-Wrath). However, since the two witnesses had first been raptured as humans who never died a physical death (Enoch before the Flood and Elijah before the First Coming of Christ), this truth suggests that the two witnesses will be counted in the Barley harvest of souls. As I mentioned in my posting, barley is the first to ripen crop of all the crops grown in Israel. Thus, Enoch and Elijah both were initially raptured alive, because they very early had become examples of God’s spiritually mature firstfruits!
Every blessing,
Nadine
Ah Thank you, YES that does make sense. THANK YOU.
I have been struggling for ages to understand the rapture, as taught by so many (One rapture), as scripture seems to speak of contradicting events .
I have only just been shown the harvests and so my eyes have only been opened two days, it is all so new…THANK YOU LORD!
THANK YOU so very much for your informative blogs and I do agree with you regarding the grape harvest, it does make sense but may I ask a question, again it may be silly. Forgive me!
Q: As I understand the Barley harvest is the early harvest (Passover) yet the rapture would be at the feast of Trumpets…Can you shed some light and make it clear for me.
Many many thanks
Nikki
Nikki,
Father God mandated three agriculture-related pilgrimages to Jerusalem that were connected to three specific annual feast days (cf. Exodus 23:14-17: First there was the mandated pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the seven-day springtime festival of Unleavened Bread—which includes PASSOVER or the main reason for being in Jerusalem—Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits). This seven-day festival was centered around the barley harvest. Secondly, there was the mandated pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the early summer Festival of Harvest, also called the Feast of Pentecost or Feast of Weeks, which usually was in early June, when the Wheat and Barley were ripe. Thirdly, there was the mandated pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the autumn 8-day festival of Ingathering or the FRUIT Harvest called the Feast of Tabernacles, which is connected to the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement, and these feasts happen 15 days before the Ingathering begins. This Ingathering festival is when olives, grapes, and other fruits are harvested, and when the fruit of the spring, summer, and fall harvests are eaten during the seven days of Tabernacles (cf. Exodus 34:18-23). The eighth day is a convocation day.
Now the three mandated feasts of Israel—which are Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles—also represent the three stages of salvation, which are justification, sanctification, and glorification. While the firstfruits of barley was harvested in the springtime, the full harvest of Barley took place in early summer. This means that the Barley firstfruits of springtime symbolize the justification stage of Barley overcomers. Pentecost is in early summer, so summertime symbolizes the complete sanctification stage of the Barley overcomers and some Wheat believers. The autumn Feast of Tabernacles, which as I mentioned is connected to the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement, connects all of these Fall feasts to glorification stage of believers. The Barley overcomers are the first to be raptured, and they are rapture pre-Tribulation, which means before the Day of Atonement, which also is symbolized as the Day of Judgment. Since the final trumpet that apostle Paul speaks about only is blown on the Feasts of Trumpets, it is this final/last trumpet that signifies the first resurrection of the dead—the time when the dead in Christ who are overcomers will arise from their graves and be raptured up into Heaven in their GLORIFIED bodies so that they can receive the crown of life, white linen robe, mansion, and all other overcomer promises. Some Wheat and Grapes will be glorified too, but not on Feast of Trumpets. They will be glorified either around Atonement or right before Tabernacles. Tabernacles is the time when God will host the Marriage Supper of the Lord.
I hope the above explanations help you. Every blessing . . . . .
Nadine
I see from one of your comments to Nikki that you believe Enoch and Elijah are the two witnesses. I am curious as to why you believe this when Jesus taught that John the Baptist was Elijah. There are two witnesses of this Matthew 11 and 17.
Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
Malachi 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
St. Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
St. Matthew 11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
St. Matthew 17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
St. Matthew 17:12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
St. Matthew 17:13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
In all the Scriptures you mention, the name of Elijah (Elias) is used symbolically. The real prophet of YeHoVaH called Elijah, like Enoch, never died a first death. Scripture tells us that it is appointed unto man to die once. Since they were translated and since YeHoVaH is not a liar, I believe these two men come back to witness to the end-time, left behind people because YeHoVaH needs to honor what His Word (Hebrews 9:27) says. Additionally, these men also were never reborn, spiritually speaking. Those of us who are spiritually reborn and saved are no longer under the Mosaic Law of sin and death. This is why there will be believers who had never died a physical death who are Raptured along with the resurrected dead in Yeshua, Lastly, there can be no doubt that YeHoVaH knew the Anti-Messiah and his mark wearing followers would physically kill His two witnesses. My point here is that if they had already died before they were sent back from Heaven as YeHoVaH’s witnesses, then YeHoVaH also would have been lying about eternal life — since we are promised there would be no more dying once we receive eternal life (Revelation 21:4).
I see what you are saying, but it seems like twisting things to make them work. Yes, Elijah returning was symbolic, but besides that there are no scriptures that would even imply that Enoch or Elijah will return to earth. The whole its appointed unto man to die once, relates to Christ’s sacrifice not actually dying once. If dying once was a literal oracle of God, then Lazarus would break the pattern because he died twice.
If you are saying Enoch and Elijah need to die because they are under the Law, Christ would have taken care of that on Calvary. Logically, if someone is translated or raptured they would be dead in our terms. They could not be floating around somewhere with a human body. Humans were made from the earth and for the earth.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
The Christian’s victory over death, through Christ
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1 Cor 15:49-54 (KJV)
If Elijah and Enoch have been changed from mortal to immortal, then they have also changed from corruptible to incorruptible. How then can they now go back to putting on a mortal and corruptible body? And if they are still mortal, where are they now?
Please know all of this is because I wish to understand. I have no interest in proving a point or winning an argument. We could always converse offline, if that would be better.
You say, “If you are saying Enoch and Elijah need to die because they are under the Law, Christ would have taken care of that on Calvary. Logically, if someone is translated or raptured they would be dead in our terms. They could not be floating around somewhere with a human body. Humans were made from the earth and for the earth.”
How does Yeshua’s death on the Cross affect translated people? Enoch and Elijah are examples of faithful men, so they wouldn’t need to accept Yeshua as Lord and Savior because they would have known who He was long before He came to earth and was crucified.
The Bible Scriptures say Enoch and Elijah were alive when they were taken off this earth. These people aren’t floating around in their human bodies because human bodies age and decay, so the translated Enoch and Elijah are spirits awaiting their glorified bodies. Maybe getting their glorified bodies is why they come back to earth and die.
Furthermore, how could everyone who is translated or raptured be already dead when the Scripture in Thessalonians tells us that both the dead in Yeshua and the alive in Yeshua believers will be caught up to meet Him in the air on a cloud? These people will not be floating around either because they will receive their prophesied glorified bodies before they enter Heaven.
Whatever is not in the Bible is often found in extrabiblical sources that the Roman Catholic Church did not canonize. For example, in the extrabiblical Hebrew Apocalypse of Elijah, Elijah’s role is described as a seer prophesying events of the end-time. Additionally, it is a Rabbinical Passover Seder tradition that an extra cup of wine — Elijah’s Cup — is always placed on the table in anticipation of Elijah’s return. This tradition is still kept today, centuries after John the Baptist lived .
My point is that maybe, in our time, more extrabiblical sources will be discovered that will prove YeHoVaH did mention both Enoch and Elijah’s return. Until then, and even after then, we have the Holy Spirit who reveals Truths to believers — many Truths which are not found in the Bible. Shalom!
Jesus’ death on the cross affected everyone dead and alive. It is the pivotal point of the Bible and the world. Faithful or not, Elijah was under the Law and Enoch is a descendant of Adam. Therefore, they are considered sinners and Jesus is the only remedy for sin.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:12-21 (KJV)
Concerning the rapture, I believe when those who alive are resurrected they will leave their bodies behind. It will not be like the movies, with only peoples clothing lying around. This will be one reason the people left behind will not believe or repent, because those resurrected will appear dead to the human eye. Just my opinion, of course.
FYI, I searched the internet, but i couldn’t find anything on the first, last and great trumpet. Do you have any sources for this particular custom.
Concerning extra-biblical sources. As the old song says, We’ll understand it better by and by …
Peace
Yeshua’s death affects the people on earth from His crucifixion forward — not the souls and spirits in Heaven. Enoch’s walk with YeHoVaH (his faith) got him into Heaven. Elijah’s obedience to YeHoVaH got him into Heaven. Because they existed BEFORE Yeshua was crucified, the way they were judged is different from the way humans who existed AFTER Yeshua was crucified. will be judged.
When Yeshua was in the grave, His Spirit went into Hades and preached to the spirits and souls that were in Paradise. Then he took Paradise with Him to Heaven (Ephesians 4:8-10). BUT, Enoch and Elijah never died, so they weren’t in Paradise.
We cannot say these translated ones were treated or judged the same way that everyone who knows about the salvation scenario will be treated or judged. As Paul says, “what we are is known to God” (2 Corinthians 5:11). I believe that once Enoch and Elijah die and are raptured, they will stand before the Judgment Seat of Yeshua.
The Rapture isn’t the same thing as a resurrection. The alive believers in Yeshua are not resurrected because they never physically died. They will be taken, caught up, carried away.
Concerning the First, Last, and Great Trumps, Prophecy From Now On by David Reynolds touches on it, starting on page 37. Here is a link to that book’s page 37:
