The Body of Christ must stop engaging in friendly-fire skirmishes. To do this believers must realize that—when God deploys Army of the Lord soldiers to action-heavy trenches—those ditches only are meant to be breeding grounds for their faith.
We were not created just to become believers in Christ Jesus, and we were not created just so we can get into Heaven. We also were not created just to preach the Gospel—to evangelize and disciple the whole world. Then too, we never were created just so that we can live comfortable lives—have comfortable jobs, comfortable paychecks (or comfortable bank accounts/savings), comfortable homes, comfortable friends, and/or comfortable churches or ministries. First and foremost, God has created human beings for His Glory. His Glory is the beauty and excellence of His diverse holiness or countless perfections. His Glory also is the revelation and manifestation of His Character or all that He has and all that He is.
Before the Body of Christ can fulfill the Great Commission of evangelizing and discipling the world, the Holy Spirit has to give every believer his or her foundational ministerial gifts, manifestative spiritual gifts, and motivational spiritual gifts—each believer must receive the functions and gifts God wants that person to use in the Body of Christ. Additionally, each “called” believer operating in ordained, manifested and motivational spiritual functions/gifts in love will be using these gifts in an orderly fashion.
Using white, pink, green, yellow, blue or purple chalk to draw hopscotch courts on neighborhood sidewalks and/or streets was a favorite activity for girls and boys in the 1950s and 1960s. This classic game always was fun to play and easy to learn. The neighborhoods’ game variations were what made hopscotch challenging.
