Sometimes we receive more than what we ask God to give us. For instance, the visions we receive from Him may be extremely troubling. However, if we are God’s prophets then we have to share everything about our visions just like He tells us—even the goriest details.
The Holy Spirit is able to keep Father God’s functional Family—the Bride of Christ—on track, because these Children have surrendered to both the Lord and the Holy Spirit. They also have accepted the Better Baptism. In other words, Father God’s functional Family members are far from being dysfunctional, because the Better Baptism makes them cooperative, powerful, edifying, nurturing, and honorable friends of God’s righteousness and holiness.
A person hardly ever commits the same offense against us four hundred and ninety times; however, we easily can replay an offense four hundred and ninety times in our minds. This spiritual truth is why with complete forgiveness (seven times seventy or four hundred and ninety times), the Holy Spirit in us can help us keep our minds from rerunning an offense over and over again. The point here is that Christ’s seven times seventy forgiveness command teaches and reminds us that forgiven people also have to forgive people.
Treating others the way you want to be treated is the nitty-gritty of the Bible’s Golden Rule, and then some. Indeed, when you do to others what you want them to do to you (show love, mercy, respect, and dignity), the golden rule becomes the exemplification of the Holy Spirit’s divine revelation concerning the Gospel of Christ—concerning the One who not only shows us how to fulfill the teachings found in the Law and the books of the Prophets, but also gives us the power and authority to accomplish them.
The uncomfortable truth is that it was Palm Sunday to First Fruits that created a holy week—holy because of the Feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread (of which the first and seventh days of this second feast are high-day Sabbaths; the first 2 of 7 annual HIGH HOLY DAYS/annual High Sabbaths), and First Fruits (Resurrection Sunday). Most important is the fact that the Feast of First Fruits came after this true holy week’s regular weekly Sabbath ended! These holidays/feasts and Holy Days are God established, as commanded in Leviticus 23!
We are meant to be lighthouses aligning the shores of the sea of life—shining our lights in such a way that we become beacon lights that guide the world’s unsaved masses to the true Light. In other words, we believers in Christ are called to be visible lights that point spiritually unenlightened souls to the true Light of the world—Jesus Christ.
Believers in Christ know that the moment the Vine no longer abides in them and they no longer abide in the Vine is when they also no longer can be fruitful Vineyard workers. That is why the Vine and Vineyard motivate Christ followers to continue to stay present in the Vine and the Vineyard—to continue to remain connected to the Vine and Vineyard—because they are these believers’ sources for love and joy.
The only way we will be able to produce the Fruit of the Holy Spirit is to answer the Vine’s Divine Call and then yield to the Husbandman’s Divine Care.
God does not want us to have any divisions. This truth is why He is not pleased with our different ideologies, theologies and denominations. He sees how they divide us into opposing groups of disciples. He sees how our friendly-fire skirmishes deny the Oneness that His indivisible Unities give us. This truth is why we—Christ’s Disciples—need to seek and receive the Oneness that God desires to see in Christ’s ONE Body.
The Lord’s moral lesson in His Dragnet parable is this: There is a day of reckoning coming—the day when the Lord will separate true believers from pretend believers. Jesus Christ also is teaching us that being caught in the net in no way means that every fish is a “good” catch. These Divine Truths are why we should not see weekly attendance at and involvement in local “churches” as signs of authentic Christianity.
