The POWER of prayer is FAITH (TRUST) in God, Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God. That’s why this FAITH only comes from hearing the Word of God. Then too, the POWER of prayer also is the POWER of God (the [dunamis] POWER of His Holy Spirit and the [exousia] AUTHORITY in Christ Jesus’ name). It is this POWER and AUTHORITY that God uses when He not only hears but also answers our prayers that are in agreement with His Will. Taking into consideration that we are submitting totally to God’s Will, are being willingly obedient to His commands, and genuinely are acknowledging EVERY GOOD THING that God already has given us (primarily the POWER that works in us), as well as taking into consideration that we also are trusting without doubting, believing and expecting to receive, and demonstrating the right motives, we then will know that we are ready to speak (pray) in FAITH, releasing the POWER and AUTHORITY that is within us that move God to hear and answer our prayers.
Most people who call Christian believers insulting names are emotionally insecure, because, first and foremost, they deny Christ Jesus as their personal Savior. As a result of their denial, they verbally abuse Christian believers, because they assume ALL Christians are ignorant Bible-thumping lunatics.
The burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus are based on Jewish dates and NOT Gregorian calendar days! Then too, Jewish holidays begin at sundown on the dates before they are listed on the Jewish calendar. For example, this means that 14 Nisan begins during the night hours of 13 Nisan, and so forth!
Whenever we are too busy thinking about ourselves and what we can get from Christ Jesus, we NEVER will be truly moved by our knowledge and understanding of the pain and suffering that were ahead for Christ Jesus, nor will we be moved by the sorrow our Lord demonstrated for the pain and suffering that were ahead for those who loved and followed Him. For these reasons, our “fake” compassion NEVER will measure up to our Lord’s compassion!
The harsh truth is that when we angrily call someone a dirtbag, we (believers in and followers of Christ Jesus) are demonstrating that we are absentminded. In other words, we are showing God and mankind that we have forgotten that we all come from DIRT.
Every crop of grain or fruit must experience a time of separation. When the crop is ripe, it is harvested by separating the chaff or the refuse. Thus, mature barley goes through a time of separation or winnowing. Using a wooden fork or “fan,” winnowers throw the gathered barley against the wind so that the wind can separate the chaff (husk) from the grain. On the other hand, mature wheat goes through a time of separation or crushing/threshing. Using a tribulum, a wooden board with holes in it, or using a wooden sled, which oxen often pull, threshers stand or sit on the board or sled as it is drawn over the grain that is laying on the threshing floor, causing the grain to be separated from the husk (chaff) and straw. Lastly, the mature grapes also go through a time of separation or crushing (treading). Using a winepress, treaders crush the grapes until the grapes’ juice is separated from the grapes’ skins, which results in the pressed juice running into the vats.
Today’s institutional “church” needs to recognize its so-called marginalized believers’ hunger for a genuine experience with God, their hunger for the spiritual knowledge of God, and their hunger for an authentic connection with a faithfully obedient community of believers. For sure, the only way that the current institutional “church” will be able to survive is if it prepares itself for its much need transformation, changing from the very unhealthy and powerless organized traditional “church” of today to the healthier and more powerful ekklesia that experiences a deeper communion or koinonia, as demonstrated by the first-century ekklesia in the Holy Bible’s book of Acts!
It would be hard to find many believers who would admit that the major reason why there is so much division in today’s institutional “church” is because there is so much Christian snobbery. Nevertheless, the harsh truth is that, in the institutional “church,” the Lord’s true followers are divided primarily because of these three forms of Christian snobbery: (1) Intellectual snobbery 2) Partial snobbery, and (3) Spiritual snobbery
There doesn’t seem to be any way to avoid the biblically prophesied bleak end times. For sure, everybody in America is moving toward the New Word Order of one-world government, one-world currency, and one-world religion. Moreover, the prophetic Word of God leaves no doubt that, globally, everyone is transitioning to the time of Mystery Babylon (cf. Revelation chapters 17 and 18 KJV). For these reasons, those American evangelical Christocrats who are endorsing Constitutional conservatism, or the need for Americans to return back to the Founders’ fundamental Constitutional values, should instead focus on living the principles of God’s Word and God’s Government—they need to model the teachings of Jesus the Christ!
