God established that three of His seven commanded appointed times (feast days) – First Fruits, Pentecost, and Tabernacles – would be associated with two different grain harvests and one fruit of the vine harvest that took place annually in Israel. Moreover, God established that these three crops (barley, wheat, and grapes) would also depict, spiritually speaking, three classes of people. The Barley represents the holy and saintly overcomers, the Wheat represents the carnal believers, and the Grapes mostly represent the unsaved unbelievers.
Too many professed believers in Christ are resting on their laurels—are living like they are satisfied with their past achievement (salvation), so much so that they refuse to consider additional effort from them is necessary. They have assumed that their salvation automatically made them the Bride of Christ—made them saintly Overcomers. As a result, they either overlooked the Scripture that commands them to work out their own salvation, or they read and studied said Scripture but concluded it does not pertain to them.
Are you an Overcomer? Most churchgoers believe they are Christ’s Wheat—meaning, they believe that the end-time Bride of Christ or Body of Christ is symbolized as the Wheat Harvest. Nothing can be further from Father God’s Divine Truth.
Glorification is sanctification’s final stage—perfected souls and spirits in bodies that are completely free of sin. Glorified bodies are given to every saint who has overcome the world by developing a holy, righteous, and Christ-like spiritual lifestyle.
The Bride of Christ will be the true Body of Christ who has been completely sanctified—has been made wholly holy in body, soul, and spirit. Christ’s Bride also will be the truly born again and saved believers from every ethnic group and from every nation.
Barley is the grain that was grown in ancient Israel that symbolizes perfection—the perfect firstfruits offering, the perfect sacrifice, and the perfect Bride of Christ. Several Scriptures prove, again and again, that there are two grain harvests that belong to the Lord—the Firstfruits harvest and a subsequent harvest (the Barley harvest and then the Wheat harvest). The Word of God also promises there will be two spiritual harvests—the harvest of Barley Christians and the harvest of Wheat Believers, with the latter being larger than the former. Just like the natural Barley harvest comes first with the natural Wheat harvest following, the Bride of Christ’s pre-Tribulation spiritual harvest will come first, and it will be followed by the Tribulation Period’s finally sold out for Christ surviving Wheat Believers’ end of the Age of Grace spiritual harvest.
When the apostle Paul says the righteous believers are NOT meant to go through God’s end-times Wrath, the apostle Paul means exactly that. So that God would not pour out any of His Wrath upon His righteous sons and daughters, He poured out His full cup of Wrath upon His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ. As a result, the Bride of Christ (every born again, saved, justified, and fully sanctified Jew and Gentile) would be RESCUED from (would escape) ALL of the end-times Wrath to come!
Traditionally there are three main harvested crops in Israel: Barley, Wheat, and Grapes. In the last days and end times, these three crops symbolize three raptured Firstfruits’ Harvests of Souls. Respectively, these raptured Firstfruits’ Harvests of Souls are: Barley Overcomers (Bride of Christ), Tribulation Wheat Believers (Martyred Saints), and Grapes “New Wine” (Filled with the Holy Spirit 144,000).
When the apostle Paul says believers are not meant to go through God’s Orge (Wrath), the apostle Paul means exactly that. God allowed His Son to experience His Orge and Thumos, which He poured out against sin and evil—He allowed Jesus the Christ to be beaten beyond recognition, crucified on a Cross, and resurrected from the grave just so that the Lord’s Bride, every saved and justified believer who is allowing God’s Holy Spirit to change him and her from the inside out, until he or she becomes like Christ Jesus, would be SAVED from all of the Wrath (Orge) to come.
If so many people (the Bride of Christ, disbelievers, and unbelievers) will be dying during the Tribulation Period, then how is Christ Jesus keeping His promise to deliver/save/keep His true Bride from God’s Wrath (cf. 1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10-11), if they aren’t Raptured until mid-Trib or post-Trib? Furthermore, wouldn’t those believers who are snatched off the Earth at mid-Trib also be ESCAPING the most horrific parts of God’s Wrath, since the Word of God describes His Wrath as increasing in intensity throughout the Tribulation Period? So how would believers in a mid-Trib Rapture of the Bride of Christ not be escapists, too? Then too, why would Christ Jesus Rapture His Bride at mid-Trib or post-Trib and then bring them back to the Earth ONLY so that they can be gathered again from the four corners of the Earth, once the Great Tribulation has ended?
