This second anniversary of Ade’s death is very significant. Thanks to Father God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit, I have done something, which on May 2, 2017, I didn’t think it would have ever been possible. I have survived two whole years without my oldest son, who was and still is someone as enormously important to me as life itself.
Memorial Day weekend and Memorial Day are the days leading up to and including the holiday that most, if not all, Americans spend time remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. May we never forget that FREEDOM isn’t free!
The Lord predicted that there would be much lawlessness in the last days. Yet even though we say that we know we are living in those prophesied last days, our awareness doesn’t make it any easier for us to understand why absolute evil would be allowed to take the lives of the 20 innocent small children who were attending Sandy Hook Elementary School. Yesterday’s shootings left this blogger speechless!?!?!?!?!
Christ Jesus not only is the object of our hope but also He is the Rock upon which we can anchor our hope. In Christ Jesus, we have the assurance that our hope in our High Priest, who has made it possible for us to go beyond the veil and enter into the presence of God, will never fail us. Because of Christ Jesus’ sacrifice and His intercession, God has made it possible for our hope to be fastened solidly, steadfastly, and irrevocably to our Savior and Lord.
