My latest book of poetry—My Spirit’s Musings—reveals why reflecting God’s Image is the best way for believers in Christ to demonstrate their genuine Christlikeness. For sure, through many Scriptures, God daily calls us to Christlikeness.
I’m praying that this is the year we will ceaselessly shine the Light of Christ throughout the entire New Year. Additionally, I’m praying that Father God will richly bless us in 2017 with love, peace, hope, joy, happiness, good health, and spiritual prosperity—the supernatural fullness of Christ, His only begotten Son. Shalom!
Our knowledge of spiritual warfare and the proper mindset/attitude we need to have about our unseen war come from knowing God’s Divine Truths. That is why He provides us with at least 39 Bible verses/passages that either deal specifically with spiritual warfare or the godly attitude we need to have about the ways the devil is fighting us (God’s Children and Christ’s Soldiers) for our living souls—our minds, wills, desires, determinations, consciences, affections, emotions, personalities, five senses, common sense, and so on and so forth. In short, since we ARE living souls who HAVE living souls, we need to know and understand that the devil is after everything that pertains to our living souls (where the devil truly loves to operate; where he definitely loves to make his appeal to our emotions and affections—our fleshly lusts, desires, and appetites).
It is time for believers to stop confessing something that is absolutely unbiblical and detrimentally misleading to their own souls and to the souls of others. The Divine Truth is that, when believers continue to call themselves sinners saved by grace, their evil communication not only contaminates them and others but also grieves the Holy Spirit, which by extension means God our Father also is grieved (cf. Ephesians 4:29-30).
