When the apostle Paul says the righteous believers are NOT meant to go through God’s end-times Wrath, the apostle Paul means exactly that. So that God would not pour out any of His Wrath upon His righteous sons and daughters, He poured out His full cup of Wrath upon His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ. As a result, the Bride of Christ (every born again, saved, justified, and fully sanctified Jew and Gentile) would be RESCUED from (would escape) ALL of the end-times Wrath to come!
No person who is of “sound” mind would want to experience any of the increasing in intensity and frequency horrors that are to take place during the end times. Predicted in the Old and New Testaments is the unprecedented dreadfulness (Wrath of God) that will start in the first 3½ years of Daniel’s 70th Week (missing 7 years) and continue through the last 3½ years of said Week. The second half of Daniel’s 70th Week also is known as the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. Sadly, there will be too many vacillating, unprepared believers and far too many hardhearted, committed unbelievers who will be left on this Earth to live or die during these 7 years of Tribulation. That’s why everyone who needs to do so should get his or her “house” in order, NOW, because Daniel’s 70th Week is just around the corner, and it not only will include the Time of Jacob’s Trouble but also the worst of all the wars there ever has been, or ever will be—the Battle of Armageddon!
If so many people (the Bride of Christ, disbelievers, and unbelievers) will be dying during the Tribulation Period, then how is Christ Jesus keeping His promise to deliver/save/keep His true Bride from God’s Wrath (cf. 1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10-11), if they aren’t Raptured until mid-Trib or post-Trib? Furthermore, wouldn’t those believers who are snatched off the Earth at mid-Trib also be ESCAPING the most horrific parts of God’s Wrath, since the Word of God describes His Wrath as increasing in intensity throughout the Tribulation Period? So how would believers in a mid-Trib Rapture of the Bride of Christ not be escapists, too? Then too, why would Christ Jesus Rapture His Bride at mid-Trib or post-Trib and then bring them back to the Earth ONLY so that they can be gathered again from the four corners of the Earth, once the Great Tribulation has ended?
On Judgment Day, no true believer will have any fear of or have any anticipation of punishment (God’s wrath)—just “perfect love.” No genuine believer in Christ Jesus will fear Judgment Day’s torment, because God’s agápe Love (“perfect love”) will have driven out all fear of being condemned on that Day of the Lord.
It is a huge interpretive mistake that always causes many to identify the Bride of Christ as the Tribulation’s “elect.” The Bride of Christ absolutely is not the Tribulation’s “elect,” because the Scriptures show that it is the spiritually blind Jewish people, the unbelieving Gentile masses, and the unprepared, unwatchful Body of Christ members who are the ones who will experience the Tribulation Period. The Bride of Christ (the faithful, obedient, prepared, and watchful Body of Believers) is raptured before the seven year Tribulation Period ever begins!
Let our lives be the true reflection of His Light in us (God’s Holy Spirit). Only the Holy Spirit can help us to be an effective ‘light’ in this currently dark world.
