Spiritual restorations are not spiritual revivals. According to Scripture, spiritual revivals have always been the times of vast outpourings of the Holy Spirit. In the Holy Bible, there are four great outpourings (spiritual revivals) of the Holy Spirit that are found in the Book of Acts. Moreover, spiritual revivals or outpourings of the Holy Spirit ONLY poured out on willing and cooperative reborn and saved souls.
The Lord’s moral lesson in His Dragnet parable is this: There is a day of reckoning coming—the day when the Lord will separate true believers from pretend believers. Jesus Christ also is teaching us that being caught in the net in no way means that every fish is a “good” catch. These Divine Truths are why we should not see weekly attendance at and involvement in local “churches” as signs of authentic Christianity.
Just like the first-century disciples/believers had to receive the Holy Spirit’s sanctifying power before they could be mighty witnesses for Christ Jesus—before they could begin their mission of finishing what He had begun, which is the Great Commission (cf. Acts 1:8; see also Matthew 28:16-20)—we today also must receive the Lord’s prayed for sanctification. This Holy Spirit-assigned process is the necessary infilling (Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues) that will guarantee we eventually will become Christlike and then, like Him, will be raptured off of this Earth.
When most people think of inoculations, receiving small doses of the diseases they are hoping to produce immunity to, they think of infectious viruses that either have become epidemic or pandemic. Surprisingly, not only is God’s “call” to go viral—to take the Full Gospel of Christ to the entire world—still a command that is in effect today, but also rapidly spreading the Good News in a very short amount of time not only is an incredibly “good thing” to do but also is an extremely easy task to accomplish these days. The problem is that most of this century’s professed believers prefer to be vaccinated with a small dose of the Holy Spirit so they won’t become contagious, and that is because they don’t want to be responsible for spreading the Full Gospel of Christ (the Great Commission) by using all of the fullness of Grace, which includes the Holy Spirit’s power of transformation. Fire Insurance is all most believers desire!
The ever-increasing need for more support from their financial partners is the primary reasons why today’s “spiritual” leaders in churches or ministries, the so-called “superstars” or “anointed” ones, think that it is okay to charge their “audiences” a cash price before giving unbelievers and even believers the Holy Bible’s Divine Truths that have been revealed to these Christian so-called “superstars” or “anointed” ones. Their need for more support from financial partners also is the reason for their insidious commercializing (branding) of God’s Word and His ekklesia, the spiritual buildings or “called out ones” who are being identified by the brick and mortar buildings in which they worship.
