The ‘last will be first and the first will be last’ statements definitely can be applied to the Jewish/Gentile cultural environment, and this is probably the reason why Christ Jesus, in the parable about The Great Supper, teaches that during the end times’ Great Supper, God (the King) personally will give the best seats to the world’s invisible people—to those individuals in this world who have been impoverished, debilitated, ill, contaminated, homeless, and so forth.
There are far too many members and/or visitors in today’s “insitutional” churches who behave abominably. This ungodly behavior is a sign of the times.
