YeHoVaH has broken the rod of the wicked,
the scepter of the rulers,
which struck the people in wrath
with continual strokes,
which ruled the nations in fury,
with relentless persecution. – Isaiah 14:5-6
On November 5, 2020, a Republican shared an image that had the same wording as the wording in the image I posted with this blog entry. There can be no doubt that these words were meant to insult the Democrats’ character – and specifically the character of the presidential candidate, Joe Biden.
Not liking this posting’s wording, I posted the following comment, with a few adjustments for this blog entry, on the said Republican’s shared posting:
Nebuchadnezzar is already in office and has been there since he was elected in 2016. Furthermore, many Democrats (that includes me) and Independents have been living in exile in Babylon and behaving just like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. More importantly, we have behaved more like Yeshua and the persecuted early, mostly Jewish believers than the majority of the people who elected America’s Nebuchadnezzar in 2016.
For this blog entry, I have added the following:
Praise YeHoVaH! We are free at last and looking forward to our Promised Land returning to some resemblance of normal.
Congratulations to President-elect Joe Biden and to Vice President-elect Kamala Harris! Shalom . . .
